Sportfishing is my passion, and I truly love every trip I take. I spend over 300 days a year on the water, whether it’s on Wicked Cuda Sportfishing trips, commercial fishing excursions, or live bait outings. Meet Your Captain
Capt. Taylor Savage
I was born and raised in southeast Florida and have been involved in charter fishing since I was 14. I started out as a mate on large party boats and eventually transitioned to working on local 6-pack charter boats during my teenage years.
In my early 20s, I spent much of my time traveling the world to sportfish, eager to learn as much as I could. I worked as a mate on private boats and fished in amazing destinations like the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Panama, Hawaii, Australia, and more. These experiences and the knowledge I gained from talented anglers I met along the way played a major role in shaping me into the captain I am today.
In 2017, I returned home and have since founded Wicked Cuda Sportfishing. I live locally with my wife, and when I'm not taking clients out on the water, you'll likely find me live bait fishing to sell to other charter boats or use for my own trips. I also engage in commercial fishing for King Mackerel and Swordfish throughout the year.
With all that I have going on I am on the water over 300 days a year, keeping me locked in to the local fishing scene and always clued into what is biting. This is my passion and I would love for you to join me for an unforgettable day offshore in Fort Lauderdale.

28' Center Console
I custom-built my Downeaster 28’ center console a few years ago to my exact specifications for fishing in Southeast Florida. The boat is equipped with multiple livewells, an integrated fish box, all electric kite reels, and a full walkaround design, making it perfect for fishing. I also installed custom spray rails and removed all wood from the construction, ensuring it is fully unsinkable for added safety.
To ensure we’re always set up for success on the water, the boat is rigged with the latest electronics, including Simrads, Airmar, and Garmin radar. Powered by a new 300hp Suzuki engine, it’s incredibly fuel-efficient and allows us to quickly move between fishing spots when needed. The boat comfortably accommodates up to six people, making it ideal for a fun and safe day of offshore fishing
